What is everyones way to fish for largemouth bass? This is a good time to share your favorite technique, structure, lures and anything else you want to share and help others enjoy largemouth bass fishing more.
    Thanks, Bill

I don’t do much chasing after largemouth bass as when it comes to bass I like the smallmouth myself. I would probably pick the ringworm or crankbait as my choices of lures casted on a St. Croix 6 ft. or 6.6 ft spinning rod. I will use both the Avid and Premier series rods for this presentation.
    Thanks, Bill

Favorite way by far is topwater!! Whether it’s in slop or open water, there is nothing better than have a LMB OR SMB blow up on my lure. AWESOME!!!

I have to agree with Jeremiah, hard to beat the thrill of a topwater strike!

I agree with the topwater! Not much more fun than a big explosion either in open water or on the slop. After that, I would have to say a texas rigged ringworm or salamander. I like to work them really slow back to the boat. I have to say that I usually do allright with this method. That basically means, that I don’t hurt myself in any way.

I’d have to agree with the topwater myself, it seams I can’t fish early and late in the day without giving chug baits a good shot. Its surprising the large fish that take shots at these baits. Second would have to be working the weed edge with a jig & pig making repetetive short casts letting it fall to the bottom. One thump on the way down will keep you going all day.

    Buzzbait!
Then spinnerbaits and tubes. But SMALLIES are bass of choice.

I’d have to agree with topwater, rubber frog slop fishing, being more specific. Wish I could use SlopBass as a sign on name. but another great BASS head has it. You never know when the strike is coming, and you can’t let it surprize you, and you can’t over react to it. WHAM. Fish On. Hey, I need to get out more often. Jack..

I agree with the top water and slop. But, I really enjoy fishing bass with a finess type approach. Tubes, jigworms with a slow fall is both challenging and rewarding. Something about that subtle tick on the end of the rod makes this type of fishing really enjoyable.

yup, topwater in the heaviest cover you can find. then when you are bending down to get a sip of that mountain dew, WHAM there is a heavy pulling on your line.

    thanks
