it may not be CO, but I am heading up to NE Iowa this weekend to fish the trout streams up there, I’ve been tying up flies for a week now.

Hey, If you find a guide let me know! I haven’t looked real hard, but I’ve been sitting here in Denver, Westminster and Boulder for the last few days and I’m getting crank.
My wife says that happens when I don’t go fishing enough.

    is crank legal in Colorado???

just joshin BK…..I know you don’t do that stuff

But in an attempt to keep this thread headed in the orginal intended direction…..Yep, I fly fished colorado a couple years ago. I fished the river that runs right through the town of Dillon (don’t remember the name), and also a small stream by Copper Mountain (the ski hill). I saw some fish, but didn’t catch nothin at either place .

Nothing like fishin in the mountains though

Please add a “y” to the “crank” in the last post

I did some searching last night…came up with lots of guides with their last fishing report dated in ’03.

Mountian fishing is great isn’t it Jake? Even if you don’t land anything…it’s just so differant from where we live.

In 2000 I fished the Firehole river in Yellowstone. After waiting for the Bison to move I started fishing. My wife had to use the lady’s room and left with the camera…which of course is when I landed my two trout. No picture/no fish!
Yes, we are still married and I’ve learned to keep anything I might need with me!

Anyone on this site fish closer to Denver?
