Zumbro bottoms

    Anyone know much about this area. My wife is going to be horse back riding (with her mother), and wants me to come along since I am unable to ride she said that the Zumbro river is right there, so I could fish. What is the fishing like there? Any info would be greatly appreciated, because if the fish ain’t bittin, I ain’t goin. Thank in advance.

    you would be lucky to catch a carp or buffalo head in that area of the river,,no game fish to speak of, deadwater,sorry

    Not entirely true. In some areas, including Zumbro Valley, the Zumbro has good smallmouth fishing.
