Dollies on Fly Rod

    Did some dollie fishing with fly rods for the first time. Hooked some silvers but could only land those with spinning rods, what a strong fish.

    What size fly rod are you using? That’s all we use for Red’s which a quite a hard fighting fish. We use 8 and 9 weights.

    I believe we used 5 weight fly rods. I have a 30 second video from my digital of a silver working that rod over pretty good, I don’t know if I can post it. I was in the Homer area on the copper river.
