A long time friend, coach, teacher and fisherman lost his life in an automobile accident Wednesday afternoon. Larry Avery was a long time lurker to this site and an avid angler. He was was hit head on after a truck and horse trailer hit a stopped car on the highway waiting to turn into the highschool Larry had recently retired from (Central Lee ) .The car/truck and trailer crossed the center line and collide with his rig on the way home from fishing, boat in tow. He was a great coach and a good man . He will be missed .

Hope the Coach was at peace with the Great Rainmaker before slipping across to the other side. The distance between Heaven and the River is exactly one heartbeat!
