So the Vikings have one NFL Championship.

August 15, 2004 at 1:57 am #317365If you look at the franchise histories, the Vikings haven’t been in football nearly as long as the Packers. But, you go year to year, head to head, who has more “better seasons?” The Vikings list of divisional championships is a strong one. I like comparing it to NASCAR……. they say “if you keep running in the top 5, one of these days you’re going to score a win.” That logic continues to come in handy as disappointing finishes have continued but hey, the Twins are doing okay, the T-Wolves stand poised to be the team to beat next year, and year 3 for Tice is expected to be a good one. Maybe we don’t have 3 previous SuperBowl rings to fall back on every time our team sucks, but I know the Vikings usually finish with a better season record and I predict no differently this year. Oh yeah……. when the play calling blows the game…. I pick up the dropped car flags so I can fly one for free!
Looking forward to giving and receiving the “heat” this year! Without competition and rivalry, it’s a lifeless game!
Oh yeah, there’s only 2 games my team has to win this year to be better than Green Bay…….. and you know which 2!
