    Kids playing pranks.
There was a show on crop circles a while back…they are just elaborate hoaxes….that can be done in a couple hours with some boards, rope and a diagram of what you want to do.

Besides…who ever heard of flying carp????

Theories? Yup. The discovery channel ran a program last week detailing how to make crop circles. Case solved… lol

Where did you learn this? I couldn’t find it on WCCO site.

Aw, you guys are spoiling all my fun. Personally, I am going to wait and see what the investigating team of ‘experts’ has to say about this.

    ET’s abound!

Suzuki, I believe it was on Kare 11 but not sure. It also made the South Washington County Bulletin Dated Aug 4.

Here are a few snippets from the paper.

“When you ask Cottage Grove farmer, Gene Smallidge how five “crop circles” got into his oat field, he just shrugs. All that he knows is that the five circles in the oat field were not there a week ago.”…..

    “He is leaning towards a man-made solution.”…..

“But it does seem odd, according to his son, Scott, a geography teacher in Hastings, that the circles are 1/2 mile from where anyone can access the fields because they are fenced.”

“If the circles were made by a 2 by 4 board, someone would have had to anchor the board in the center of the circles and there is no sign of that from Scott’s observations.”

“All-terrain vehicles make paths in the fields that can easily be seen by most anyone, but there were no tracks near the fields…..”

So put that in your pipe and smoke it, wise guy James. For me, I’m going to buy some Reece’s Pieces and keep the shotgun loaded.

Mel Gibson made a documentary on this called “Signs” I’m pretty sure that after viewing this show that these are a direct result of aliens.

In case any aliens are monitoring our communications- please don’t invade until after good wing dam fishing is over, actually after hunting season. Oh then I’m looking forward to snowmbiling this year and of course ice fishing. Wait, spring fishing soon follows. Why don’t you just forget about invading. We are too dam busy!!

Where’s the “Kid”? He must have an opinion on this.

Discovery had a special demonstrating that some crop cirlces are elaborate hoaxes. Others did not have simple explanations, specifically ion isotope content of the soil in the immediate area of the circle which was absent in the surrounding soil.

They had a team of students from MIT try to recreate a simple version of the ‘unexplained’ cirlces, and to do it they had to generate a funky particle gun which electrified the dirt with power from a portable generator. It was definitely not the kind of thing that could be done by amateurs, even with weeks of preparation.

The crop circles in Cottage Grove were made by renagade golfers.
(sandbar? Where were you last night?)

I’m gonna go from “Mr. Positive” to “Mr. Opinion”! Throw me a cape! Dunt-dun-duhhhhhh!

Far be it from me to try and explain everything in this world…….. I’ve got Gianni on staff for all the stuff I don’t want to cover.

He has already posted so I’ll just throw in a quick blurb.

“I have no explaination. I wasn’t there. I didn’t do it this time. I didn’t hear any plots at UFO Days in Elmwood, WI either. However, I found Reeses Pieces on my lawn last week and my shotguns are missing.”

In closing…….. there are no aliens. They have my permission to come show themselves. Suzuki will find the time to not be busy if they come to visit him. We’re in no danger from the people of Elmwood, WI, the self-proclaimed UFO sighting capital of the world. I am the stick in their mud. I have a better chance at finding Santa’s elf managed toy factory than proving aliens exist.

How’s that for one day’s mischief Putz?

What a bunch of sticks in the mud, popping my balloon like that. Oh well, you live in your little world and I’ll live in mine.

Brian – I try my hardest to stay out of corn fields when golfing….not always successful… When you were bouncing jigs off Stillakids head, did you blame that on golfing??

I’ll tell you what, these people that wreck others crops must have some awful big cahones. If I caught someone intentionally tearing up my fields I’d find a nice warm place to put my boot.

On their website you can vote your opinion for…

    Hoax
    Not Sure
    Genuine

If I vote Genuine what does that mean exactly?

Ya know…If you look at the second circle back? Can you tell if that’s a golf ball…or a jig?

Thanks, JickyJack. I couldn’t find the link. Read ’em and weep, folks. I’m still loading my shotgun. But if they are going to abduct anyone, I have a couple of kids I would donate. There’s more in this week’s Bulletin also.

Catfishermen have known for years about the aliens.

It’s about time the rest of you started catching up.

Gianni I knew there was a reason I liked Cat Men.

Briank. I’ll have you know that Lutey is an excellent source of ion isotopes or free radicals or whatever Gianni said. It’s a great attractor of ET’s, flies, dogs with full bladders, and underfed Norwegians.

That’s it, I’m done with this post until invasion is proven. Besides, I’m heading for Leech tomorrow.

Holy ET, Batman. It ain’t over yet. I now have 4 days to think about this as I am heading out the door for Leech to chase slop bass (the fish)with a slop frog I just puchased as advized from another thread.

The aliens blasted the thing out of the sky at 10 kilometers above the earth and there’s a metal chunk from the ship in the impact zone? Right……….. Lotta things not adding up here……..

I got a suggestion for ya Putz…… put down the shotgun and fish. There will be a time to use it but I think it’s closer related to birds than aliens.
