Just to add insult to injury….I just walked outside and it’s perfect out. Sunny, barely any wind, perfect day to be OTW
….and of course, we’re stuck here working… 
Anyone else feel like today is dragging? 
Well I saw the overcast and foggy AM and got the wife to take the kids to daycare with her. snuck out for 2 hours. 
Caught a few but then worked called me back in.
Wished I could spend the day out there but kids and stuff does call.
Another nice thing about being young and in high school is that work never gets in the way of anything! I’ll be thinking of you guys this afternoon when I’m hammering the ‘eyes.

3 pm? You guys are fishing way too early…I’m leaving at 7 PM to be on the hotspot by 8:30 PM…should be back in by 3 am….
I’ve found (by accident, thought it was a deformed sucker) that not even the biggest Flathead likes the taste of walleyes…. 
Yeah I’m sitting here too wanting to be out side. It is the most perfect day. I don’t even necessarily have to be fishing…. yeah right. I hate work, I hate my job, and I hate sheephead!!!! That’s my life in a nut shell. I have to work until 6pm and I work all weekend!!!!! 
oh well.
Fished Blue Lake on the way to La Crescent. Couple of hits on slime frogs, but pretty slow overall. Gotta love the fishing lunch break…
