No creamer, but the ambience makes up for it. Estes park is glorious, recommend anyone with a pulse to get out here. 72 hrs ago I was on an island in remote Canada getting the perculator going, now this, Daddy is spoiled this year

I will take that kind of spoiled!!!!

Was there two years ago on a family vacation. Stayed at the YMCA camp. One of if not the best family vacation I ever had!!

Scenery was amazing and lots of fun things to do that are simple….like a family hike on the trails along a trout stream. Or having coffee in the morning watching the elk on the mountains.

No elk yet, got here late last night after a few airport delays, but some family had mini herds walk through their cabin lot last couple mornings. Remember seeing them in Banff years ago and those are amazingly powerful beasts, not one I’d want to cross on a trout stream.

    Diesel,

How far advance did you have to make reservations to make the family YMCA camp happen? I have always heard good things about it.

    Thanks,

I moved out there in 94 and I fell in LOVE with Estes Park. I did a lot of construction in Estes Park and the Front Range in the 90’s. My favorite was building Aspen Winds on Fall river. I slept out on the deck of one of the unfinished units every night. There is nothing like the night sky in the Rockies. I want to go back…
