I traded in my old ford for a newer 2011 f150xlt. I was charged $199.99 for this system, how do I know if this system was activated? My old ford had a light that blinked at night on the dash. I see what I assume is the same thing on my new truck but it doesn’t blink after dark like the old one. I guess I’m wondering if I was charged but it wasn’t activated?
Not sure exactly what you are referring to when you say anti-theft security system. I believe all vehicles made now have some version of that. I believe it’s just a gps system that tracks the vehicles location if it was stolen.
If you didn’t get an alarm system of some kind, you’ve been had.
Assuming you recently bought the truck used, it would be an aftermarket add on? Sounds odd… call the dealer.
