I just saw this post… I’m so sorry to hear that he has passed! He was an awesome guy. During our fishing trips I would literally go home with sore sides from laughing the whole time. He was very outgoing and could BS with the best of them.

It was so easy to see he loved his family a great deal. He would just be glowing as he told me about his kids and grandkids. I will always treasure our time on the water together and I’m so proud to have been a part of his last fishing trip. I’m truly honored… god bless!

Sorry for your loss. Your memories of your fishing adventures will keep him alive in your heart forever. You were very fortunate to get more trips and time together after such an injury

Ordered up a bunch of these to capture the moment with my dad. Sending to family members, his honorary pallbearers and a few select friends as Xmas gifts this year …

…but not to his doctor ;)

That’s so neat! I would be afraid to use it, but feel obligated at the same time. The feeling of your father helping you catch one more fish will be unforgettable.

    Very Cool!

I take Bob Moore fishing with me all the time. I have a laminated tribute of his obit and picture that I believe they had at the funeral. His wife sent it to me.

So now I can to say I went out fishing with Bob and out-fished him, although sometimes it still ends in a tie…although if I could, I’d rather share a boat with him and get schooled. frown

Cherish the memories, dad passed away on my birthday in 2013 and I still expect him to walk in the door when I’m at the homestead.

It will get better but the ache never goes away completely.
