Rangers had their chance. Over in 5 games. Kings dominated that game after a shakey start.

The Kings are just crazy good. They go through the motions during the regular season and then turn into a pack of clutch players and scoring machines. The only thing more entertaining than a Kings playoff run is their coaches press conferences.
Talk about getting a great deal in nabbing Gaborik. It could have just as easily backfired and he could be sitting with yet another injury, but he isn’t. Grabbing him is a blueprint for the term rental. They get him for the playoffs and it pays off. Then they can was their hands clean of him after this season and not be dumping money into a guy on the IR.
