…so, what about this Bergdahl guy and his dad? Who got a better trade, Jerry Jones in the Hershel Walker trade or the Taliban in the Bergdahl trade?
I think its a tough call, but the fact we lost brave soldiers searching for someone who willingly left his post, tie goes to the Taliban.

I made the same analogy on FB this morning, it was the first thing I thought of.
Taliban.
That said we can never leave anyone behind, even if it’s to bring them home and try them for desertion.
I agree with what was done.

meanwhile Andrew Tahmooressi still sits in a jail cell in Mexico … how bass ackwards can an administration’s priorities be ?
No clue who he is or what he allegedly did. Sorry.
US Marine who is jailed in Mexico because he took a wrong turn and ended up at the border crossing with a firearm in his vehicle; where he wasn’t allowed to turn around even though he immediately declared when he pulled up to the crossing station that he did not intend (nor even want) to enter Mexico
You tellin me the Marines don’t have the pull in washington to get this guy out??? Is there more to the story you don’t know?
Wait for the next scandal they need yo deflect from Don.
Who we going to trade him for? We don’t do anything about Mexicans crossing the border?
We do some effort to try and control our borders, it’s defiantly not perfect, some do get through. Two that I know serve me coffee in the morning at my local diner. they have become very nice acquaintances over the last few years. I wish them the best as I do everyone no matter their story as long as they do no genuine harm.

How ’bout we trade him for B-HO, E-HO, and Dirty Harry ?

Ok, but that was just sarcasm and not me trying to make a point.
Is there any wonder why you and BK have so many posts? Birds of a feather…
It all seems pretty simple to me. We have an obligation to uphold the constitution. Not just politicians, not just government employees, not just the military but us as citizens. Take note that I said the constitution, not the government. The Constitution is the end all be all. It is the law of the land and is not a polite suggestion of how we should frame our government but something that is the foundation and the roof. This is the law and code of conduct that our government must adhere to and grants us as citizens our god given rights and the moment that the government over steps its bounds it should immediately be put back in to its place. I find it commendable that at the root it appears he was simply looking out for the American people and by questioning his superiors he was trying to go about it the right way. Does it make it justified? I don’t know but what I do know is that the Government is not effectively doing its job and has gotten completely out of hand in interfering with people’s lives, and the American public has grown complacent and soft. In “Civil Disobedience” it is stated that the people have the need to follow their conscience not the edicts of an unjust government.” As in the Government should be forced to adhere to our wishes and not the other way around. If they over step their bounds I think someone should blow the whistle on them and we should be pissed about it. I want the freedom to live as I choose as long as I am doing it legally without relying on a government that can’t even keep its doors open. I love this country, I support the military, I obviously want terrorists terminated with extreme prejudiced but our Government is a bunch of morons that continually drop the ball and they constantly try to manipulate the constitution to allow them to take away our civil rights and they should be called on it. These are the same things the Chinese government does to its own citizens and people are disgusted by it. And the fact that the NSA blatantly lied to congress, the officials that we elect to represent us in government when it comes to drafting laws, is inexcusable and I think if anyone should be on trial for treason it is the people that are responsible for those lies and they should be put in front of a firing squad. All of that aside, I think if he laid his cards out like he did and with the possibly of him ending up in a Russian ditch somewhere he should man up and back it up by coming home and let the pieces fall where they may. I think the public has enough interest in this matter to keep a close eye on it to see exactly how the government handles it and he was obviously willing to risk becoming a martyr for it.

Bull. Pug was serious.
Anyone can debate feelings on what they have said, and everyone’s looking for the truth, no one has to explain themselves. The truth is that were living through a time where certain people and their ability to get their hands on listening technology and their ability to abuse it has alarmed everyone because of what we have read, because of good investigative reporters also know as whistle blowers.
What were hearing is the statements coming from researchers, with abilities like you and I, coming from their abilities to listen to something and when listening they hear things that they know isn’t right, also like you and I. Thank goodness that there’s certain people that when they hear something that they know isn’t right, involving everyone”’ that they speak out and tell everyone about it.
The right Research and reasoning ability, comes from minds of people who know that’s there’s a difference between right and wrong, and their whistle blower feelings come from a place where they feel they have to inform everyone who’s involved in a free society, like you and I.
I’m looking in a book of proper procedures and it says if you coincide with you allies that there’s no need to listen into their phone calls. Has government gotten to big and paranoid, I think so, because they haven’t the ability to restrain themselves from differentiating between whats right and wrong in listening skills, and who to listen too.
Anyone in our government who’s listening to our allies, and listening indepth to their conversations, is doing something wrong. It sounds like certain people who have the technology and drive, listen to and want to listen too, everything in America and our allies, kinda sounds like the J Edgar Hoover era. His habits and life styles is another and very big subject.
Snowdan is the least of our worries. Drop in the bucket what the NSA is doing to us and other entenities.
Focus on this you will miss anther fringe on our liberties.
Sorry but I have more worries that trump this guy.
continue on sheeple
