Trolling Pepin

    I fished Pepin the first time this spring with good results, Return trips are coming soon. My question is what bait do most of you use. I used a reef runner last trip and cought some nice fish. The majority seem to favor Rapala #5 &7 fire tiger. This is a big question but I think I will be intresting to read the replys.

    My favorite colors are Blue/Chrome and Clown.

    I did well with a brown/yellow/orange deep diver crank.

    If I had to pick one color for the summer bite I’d say the #5 perch.

    My favorite Pepin Shad raps are #5’s, #7’s and the #5 jointed. If I had to only hit the lake with 2 colors I would make sure it was orange craw or firetiger

    I have had good sucess on Berkley frenzys in the hot months fire tiger being my go to
