Thanks again to everyone who posted advice on pups/dogs for me a few weeks ago. This process did not exactly plan out the way we thought but we had an opportunity present itself and ended up bringing home a new pup on Sunday. This chocolate male pup had been spoken for but the original owners were not able to follow through. Our son named him Drake because of his passion for duck hunting.

This guy is exactly what our oldest son wanted. He is a beautiful pup and was from a great family in SW Wisconsin. We look forward to many years of good times ahead. Don’t mind the ugly guy holding him or the fact that that the pic is sideways…

Congrats. Hold him as much as you can now. The puppy stage is great!

Looks like a great addition to the clan. I hope to meet him soon and I look forward to seeing pictures of the Boys & their harvest!

Won’t be holding him for long! If he is anything like his older brother, and his paws look equally as large, he’ll be a moose plowing through the cattails this fall!!! Best wishes to you guys. I’m sure your son is nearly beside himself
