Depends on what you are after. In the summer it can be a wild party lake. Water skiing, jet skis, pontoons, kayaks, canoes, sun bathers and let’s not forget the planes landing and taking off.
If you can put up with all the activity, Yes, there are some nice fish to be caught. If you want quiet, try mid-week, nights.
The muskie season isn’t open yet but it is a pretty solid muskie lake. The bass seem to run small but then I only fish it for muskie and all bass caught are incidental. Crappie are numerous but you won’t see many slabs.
Nearby you can find Big Green Lake, it holds pretty good crappie numbers and walleye as well. As far as I know, the crappie are doing better since the DNR lifted the failed slot restriction on the lake a few years ago, maybe someone else has more info on that though. Best bet imo would be the west end of the lake in the flats for crappie and either just outside those flats in deeper water, or the structure on the south shore for the walleye.
