Do you need to replace it because it is all cracked up? If so, make sure to evaluate the subgrade material when you remove the existing slab. Also, many concrete contractors (non-IDO members of course ) will tell homeowners that reinforcing is not needed except at the construction joints. Well mother nature always gets the last laugh in the cold MN climate. So we typically specify 6-12″ well compacted granular material below the slab and #4 reinforcing at 24″ o.c. for a 4″ slab or #5 at 18″ o.c. for a 6″ slab. The concrete may still crack, but the reinforcing will prevent the cracks from opening up.

No, the apron is sinking next to the foundation.

I do as well…..not just the apron but garage slab and front walk as well. Maybe a foundation too if that is your expertise.
