Watching the show this morning gave me a question. James, in a typical season how many states do you have fishing licenses in? Other members can chime in on what they have and please list the states. The winner gets a gold star.

Most years it is just Iowa and Minnesota. The most was licensees; Iowa, MN, SD, CO, WY, Yukon Territory, British Columbia, Alaska, NE and MO. (I’d like to repeat that trip)
MN, WI, & Ontario or Manitoba, I may add MI this year as I have a 13yo Grandson out there now.

I know the U.P. is a little different than the rest of the state but we still use the same hunting and fishing licenses as the Lower Peninsula here. We don’t have our own…yet. 
In my wallet right now…Manitoba, Ontario, North Dakota, South Dakota, Kansas, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan. Two years ago was my peak as I had licenses for Kentucky, Louisiana, Texas and Iowa in addition to the ones I’m carrying this season.
