Little help now….

My Kenmore model 2130 washer is not spinning all the water out on wash cycle, and I have to put it on spin drain to get it to spin more out of the clothes. Thing is it isn’t getting all the water out like it used to. The thing is only 2 years old.
Anyone out there that can fix this, or tell me what to check? What if someone was using non “He” detergent>? Would that cause this? Can it be cleaned somehow? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

My Kenmore front load has a clean out near the bottom I must empty every once in a while. It’s usually full of change.

If it sees a unbalanced load it will not be able to spin at high RPM’s and your close will be wet still. You have HE washer and your not using HE cleaner? Shame on you….

Mine did this a few weeks ago and I freaked out because I didn’t want to buy a new washer. I talked to the local dealer and he said it was likely the coupler. He said there were dozens of useful easy how-to videos on how to check/replace a coupler, I picked one and fixed it in 15 min.
How to identify a coupler issue: look underneath the washer, if there is white or black dust in a little pile the problem is your coupler! $15 fix in 15 min.
Basically the rubber washer will crack and the plastic prongs that fit into it will grind and break off, depositing the dust in a neat pile under the washer.
