Trolling plate

    I purchased a brand new trolling plate tonight for $5.00 at the local auction house. I see these are $100.00 new. So feeling pretty good. My concern? I read reviews on Cabelas site. Many happy and sad owners of this item. Help me out. Is this worth mounting on my 90 horse?

    not sure which one you picked up there, but I’d say yes, you done good.

    I bought the troll-omatic (I think this is right) and it works as advertised. Slowed my merc 115 two stroke down to .7 mph crawl. Pitfall is it takes away your steering response. It did hurt my top end by about 4mph.

    But they do work.
