I am going to bring the truck in ASAP for new rear brakes, anyone know a good shop or guy in the east or south metro. 2003 F150 disc brakes, needs pads and rotors. Went to a place in oakdale last time and found out later they were real high on the price after talking to a few different mechanic buddies.

Maybe you don’t care aboutbthe cost, but have you ever tried to do them yourself? It usually takes longer to jack the truck up and pull the tires off then change them out. There are a ton of youtube videos out there to point you in the right direction.

Give Steve a call at 952-688-7500. He has a shop in Bloomington at 94th and Bryant, Great guy, knows his cars and does good work for a reasonable price.

X2 on doing it yourself. Fairly easy job.

My buddy in Oakdale does that stuff in his garage. A lot cheaper than any shop and he’s a very good mechanic. Actually he hates doing brakes because he’s done so many and its too easy for him but he would do it for an IDO brother. PM me if interested. I know he’s done work for Cougareye before.
