I had an early blood draw this morning and the lot I parked in had crawlers everywhere. We.ve had a couple rounds of thunderstorms overnight with plenty of rain in them and the worms have come to the surface in a big way. Must be spring now for certain.

Finally, Lets hope we have a little spring for a couple of months and not go to 90 in one week.

I think spring is here, the asparagus is just coming thru the ground here, and the grass is getting green and the squirrels are burying nuts in the the yard again.
Must be some they missed last fall.
AH yes, tis that time of year I hope.

I’ve been out 2 times in the past week to look for crawlers. Normally on a good rainy night, I can get 30 dozen in about an hour. Both times the crawlers weren’t out yet. I’m starting to think the weather needs to warm up more. Both nights the temp was about 40 degrees. Anyone else been having luck picking them yet? I just ordered a flat from Matt’s Lucky Bait for the Croix opener.

We don’t have crawlers in my hood but the smaller angle worms have been out in full force. Too bad I don’t use them.
