    Thanks everyone for the help. I did purchase a couple of the GPAS bungees at the Sports Show. Hopefully they will help along with all of the above info

    i 2nd the cat river anchors. and since its local, we didn’t have to pay for shipping. Good design with a great method of retrieving from a snag, it has a zip tie that holds it from collapsing the opposite way. so if you get it snagged, pull till the zip tie breaks and it collapses and allows it to pull from the snag. works really well in our rivers filled with downed trees….

    I give a third vote to the Cat River Anchors. I will only use them from now on. I currently have 2 of the 20 lber’s that I use in the rivers I fish but am planning to get 2 of the 10 lber’s for using on the local lakes this summer.
