Was up sat. for one last trip on the ice. Thinking we’ll be on the water soon as the ice was not in very good shape. Thickness was anywhere from 3′ to 15″ and pretty honeycombed . 1″ of rain on sat. helped.

Went up last week wednesday to block my house up on the south end and nothing but mud mud mud! 2-3″ or greasy mud and frost under that still.

Thanks for the update. It’s kind o tough to tell from the webcam how the melting’s coming along.

It’s been a wet spring. The deep snow has been melting creating water ponds and muddy areas. Some areas have dried up pretty well while others areas not so well. The ice on the lake it still holding up. The shoreline is still holding tight. Today I have 12 degrees, heck we are still making ice and have 6-8 inches of snow in the forecast?? I’m hoping spring will come someday……
