Three years ago I had to put down my best friend THE MOOSE my 13 yr old german shepherd, Today my 2 1/2 yr old german shepherd had to be put down Lexi Von Strudel was born with kidney disease and 1 yr ago was only given 2 weeks to live. Our wonderful kidney doctor helped Lexi live another 1 1/2 more years I cant understand Gods reason to take my dog from me .She was only a baby.Im devastated, cant figure this one out. The only good thing is she didn’t suffer and now is in heaven with the MOOSE. Lexi RIP you are truly missed and always will be.

Sorry for your loss. Hope Moose and her share the after life together. Some things just don’t seem fair in life and loosing a good dog before it reaches a normal age is truly a heart breaker.

It’s hard losing a good companion anytime.

Each time a post like this comes up I’m sure we all think of the “best friends” we’ve lost over the years.

Dogs should be required to live twice as long as their owners.

skeeterbite, Loving all dog’s as much as I do, I share and feel the pain of your loss! Given enough time, the pain will dull somewhat but it never goes away completely. You will always remember and treasure your good friend’s. As you should for for any friend that was as loyal as they were. All you can do is remember the good time’s you had with them. May God bless both you and them! DIRTBALL2

Sorry for your loss. Another good dog, and a fighter, enters the ido dog park in the heaven.

Thank you to all who sent me messages, I am just really bummed out. Anyone who has lost a family member, as Lexi was knows the pain im going through for the last 2 days.Everything we do just reminds me and Deb of our baby girl. It will take time to heal, and I hope one day I can bring another family member ,not to replace my 2 dogs, but brighten our home again with that unconditional love, respect and happiness we need. My little dog a 13 yr old rat terrier will be our main focus and we will get over our loss one day. Lexi gone but never forgotten Thanks to all

I don’t know what to say to help you, but know that you’re not alone. We just got news on Friday that our 6 year old Great Dane has bone cancer and will be gone soon, too. There’s not much we can do other than give them our love and treat them right, so try to take comfort in the fact that you did all you could. I know your heart is broken–mine sure is.
