After work today I hooked onto my boat and got her out of storage. When I got home I had my daughter (12) help me back her into the driveway. As we unhooked and blocked the tires I turned around to see daughter hugging our boat! She told me she missed our boat and was so happy to see her she just had to give her a hug!!! My son (8) ran past me with a huge smile as he retrieved his gear and put it into the boat.

Fishing isn’t about catching. LOVE MY KIDS!!!

My fish catching fool of a daughter (back then starting at 4),
    is now 34 years old.
    They grow up fast,

go out and make some lasting family memories.

My dad is a teacher so growing up in the West metro we fished 3-5 days a week. I have been all over the midwest and Canada and will never forget hot summer days trolling for pike and walleyes or watching a cork for sunfish with Dad. Awesome work – QB

Sweet! I sold my boat last fall, and up until a month or two ago, our two-year old asked “where’s our boat?” several times a week.
