In the process of building a new cabinet that will hold 20 rods around the outside of it. Question is I am in the search for a clip to hold the rod. I am interested in the style like fleet farm has. with the 2 little “arms with round balls on the end” (with lack of better words to describe them.) I have done a web search with no luck. Thanks

I know exactly what you’re talking about but don’t know what they are called. If it helps, some of our instruments at work have those clips on the back for holding cords out of the way. Maybe they are an electrical clip.

I use clothes pins and put a screw through the hole in the spring. Just pinch the clothes pin to open it and put the rod inside and let go.

I built a rod holder for my closet acouple years ago I got mine from Thorn Bros, like the 3m ones shown in the post before mine but black and they had a shaft that went in to a hole I had to drill, no tape.

I don’t like the tape idea, but I atleast have a name and some info to go off. If it comes down to it I will screw the tape ones down… I have found some now that you speak of with like a sheetrock anchor. I don’t like the anchor style as it will be solid black walnut I am fastening to.

Thanks Duke for your post, for I also was looking to use something like this for my many rods. And thank you Ryan for the research. It’s guy’s like you that make this a great web site.
