Technically to a man they are candles. Sensey is the new Tupperware.

Anyone remember when they (women) actually had parties to by Tupperware? WTF? Now I see them unclaimed in every break room fridge and table like they are worthless.

20 that I can think of off the top of my head. Not enough by my opinion and too many by my wifes. Once Wyatt gets big enough to start it will probably go up quick.

I have 6 total. Sucks being poor. I can still catch fish with my Walmart rods though.

I’m a hoarder of fishing poles or fishing stuff in general.I have over 200 working rods and reels for just about any type of fish you want to catch.I took 2 8×4 3/4in trellis cut down the middle and mounted above my boat.2 rods 1 going each way in every hole of the trellis where they are up out of way and I can grab the poles for the type of fish I am after.I have been thinking of having a garage sale but never get around to it.The garage and basement are my man caves and as long as I do not get in my wifes domain shes fine with it.I do not smoke, drink and love my fishing and have a beautifull understanding wife of 35 years.Do not ask about crank baits or plastics thats a whole nuther story.I always use my own boats as I can carry what I want to use and not have to worry about having the right equipment.I know when I pass on my wifes going to have one of the biggest fishing garage sales around lol but till then its all mine.

I’m in the 35 rod combo range. Maybe I should just stick to one fish species, then I could cut down to maybe half.
    Maybe NOT….

14 or so ice combos, 10-12 ice rods and 4 blanks.
Open water, I’m going to guess 20 combos, 15 rods, 5 -6 blanks. I’m sure there are some I’m forgetting.
Fly rod combos 4, 3 rods, 2 blanks. 2 Bamboo.
1 Spongebob pole and 1 Princess pole.

I counted 14 in my rack between the Cabin, Garage and all the tubes I am over 30. Also have 6 fly rods and 4 ice rods.

I am sure if I match my rods to the reels I am short on reels.

Some of you guys…WOW I envy of your extensive collections, one day I’m sure though mine will be right up there as time goes by. As of right now I’m at 14 (7 summer rods and 7 ice rods).

The real number is in the upper 40s by a quick count. The number I tell my wife is in the teens. If I die, I hope my wife sells my equipment for what it is actually worth and not what I told her it is worth.

So you guys are saying that Ron Popeil lied to me and that the Pocket Fisherman isn’t the only rod/reel I’ll ever need?

    7 ice combos

    12 open water

1 of the open water rods is currently vacant of a reel, though. That rod is my sturgeon rod and I just toss a muskie reel on it when it’s time to do the sturgeon dance.

I only buy what I need.
