What is the best line for pulling spinners with 1oz to 3oz weights. I have always used 10 lb mono but curious what everyone else is using.

I like 10/2 832 you can feel everything. 12 floro leaders for the spinners.

14# braid for my main line and then 12# mono or fluorocarbon for the leader material used for the spinner.

When I fish with spinners trolled behind planer boards with in line weights or snap weights I prefer to use a 12 lb monofilament line as a main line and my spinners are tied with 12lb flourocarbon. There are pluses to using a no stretch line especially for better hook ups but if you are not careful and your drag is not loose or you are using a rod that does not have a soft tip you can loose fish that make sudden runs at boatside. Using mono will give you that little bit of stretch that will help in that situation. Good luck fishing.
