Curious if anyone here is running these( Cooper Discoverer LSX Plus load E) and their thoughts on them. I’m a long time Mich LTX guy and would most definitely be running them again if cash flow wasn’t an issue. But at almost 40% less in cost, if traction in snow is good and moderate in mud, I can justify going from 80K mile tires to 60Kmiles for now.

    Sam’s has a $60 or $75 off a set of 4 Michellin tires.

Just looking at the Feet Farm flyer Randy. Looks like up to an $80. cash card for Coopers.

I don’t know anything about them though.

    Randy,

I had the Cooper HT Plus on my Ram in 20″ and they were ok, I then put on a set of Cooper A/T3 for something with a little more traction.

The HT’s wore decent and got me the rated miles plus a few, so far the A/T3’s are wearing great. I know their CS4 road tires that have 80,0000 wear really well.

I have bought Cooper exclusively because of the price and they have worn well for me, I do rotate them regularly and keep good air pressure.

Plus the Coopers are the only tire made in USA!

Have the AT3 tires on my 1500HD. They are wearing fine, my only complaint is they are considerably louder at highway speeds than the Michelins I had previously.

Michelins will wear a lot better than the Coopers from my experience

Randy, I have had them on my diesel 1 ton. I pull a lot of skidloader trailers and put a considerable amount of miles on the gravel. I am hard on tires period. I got about 50,000 on them. I was satisfied.

I bought Coopers about 15 years ago for my 68 chevy pickup I had at that time and they wore really well. If their built like they were then their a good tire, Id go with them again. I think Coopers are one of the better tires.

While I can’t comment on the specific tire you are asking about Randy, I will say I have been very happy with the 3 sets of Coopers I’ve ran (2 truck AT3, 1 car CS4) and they seem to wear really well. No noise complaints to speak of with any of them

I’ve only had HT’s and CS4’s and both wore great, traction seemed good too. If they made my size for new truck I would have bought them again.
