Might want to change the heading of this post before Kevin12 sees it and practices his form of tough love on you!
[censored] and Sheels are both lacking in the outdoor gear catagory. But the golfers will be happy.

We have a Dick’s in Woodbury for about 10 years, it was a Galyan’s prior to that. I have only purchased a few lures
that were clearanced priced in that time. For fishing gear it is very disappointing.

They are more of just an all around sporting goods store. They carry just enough fishing stuff to be “well rounded”

They even fall short for avid golfers. Kind of a jack of all trades thing.

Jack of all trades, master of none. Much like Gander, they are just another outdoor themed clothing store that carries some non-clothing outdoor products.

This has been in the plannig for a few years already. No definite plan on when the assembly process will start or target date(s) for opening. The only thing that IS for sure, the demolition permit has been issued. So far, the company hasn’t been or isn’t willing to give any kind of statement about more than that. I understand that one might be a little reluctant, more than excited to get this in the La Crosse area. BUT, it sure can’t hurt to give Gander’s Garbage some competition. It sure as heck CAN’T be any worse! Have a great weekend everyone. If you get out in the ice that’s left or in the boat, good luck, stay safe and tight lines.

Dang! I was wishing they would put up something like that in Winona. They’re lacking a sports store like that. [censored] isnt trying to lure in the 60 year old fisherman, more of the sporty teenager crowd. Good move for a college town like la crosse!
