    It was a slow night at work so I started looking at lindy rigs and reading up on it and was curious as to who invented it. This man Ron is a legend and he also started In Fisherman in the 70’s. He’s also the spokesperson for TIP(turn in poachers)
    Interesting christian man and have written a few books on fishing and his faith.

    I was going to ask if you grew up under a rock, but you are from Iowa soooo

    Lol he’s the older gentleman who usually fishes with Al on the Angling Edge. I always get a hoot when he’s on, very charasmatic and knows his fish.

    Ron just had lung surgery in January and has been recovering in FL. Might be back now.

    Spent a bit of time chatting to him one day. Stand up guy.

    God bless the Man;
    As a person ages you learn to appreciate all the gifts that you have been given. The highs and lows of life are given equal value,the challenge is to stay true to yourself through all the challenges.

    Ron; Thanks for setting bar so high.

    I agree Jeff. I know everyone does not like the message at the end of his shows. Some do get a little long winded to but got to give him credit for putting a positive message out there.

    That’s Ron….not to be confused with his brother Al that the host of Anglers Edge.

    Huh? I guess Ron always looked older to me, but I guess that’s subjective. Either way like watching both those guys but enjoy when Ron is on, Al is the ADD always going full bore and Ron is more laid back, always sitting down and enjoying himself.

    Forget what video it was but Uncut Anglimg had a lil part where a guy mimicked the Lindner unique accent and was hilarious.
