Had rotator cuff surgery in early February. Started going to PT two weeks after surgery. Couldn’t really do much for the first 6 weeks because I had a complete tear of the supraspinatus tendon.

You should see what these PT clowns are billing my insurance company for “exercise” at their facility.

I’m appalled and I told them so.

Shopping for new and need some recommendations.

    Thanks!

    Edit: Metro area MN.

Where did you go? I have had both hips replaced among other things. About 90% of my time at therapy I feel as though it’s pretty lackluster.

My wife had her right hip replaced in late Nov. She’s doing very well. Hiked 2 miles in the desert east of Phoenix last weekend, no problems. A chiropractor friend of ours started her on laser therapy. Made a big difference how much quicker her recovery progressed. Her advice, find a chiropractor who uses laser therapy. Send me a pm for a name of one in north metro .

hips don’t require physical therapy according to my Dr. I had one replaced in 08 and never did therapy. Getting the next one done and not doing any either.

I had a therapist come to the house after the first one and didn’t have any after the second. Just stretching and moving does the trick! Good luck with the next one!

PT is just a big hoax. It’s all about the money and sucking what they can from you before booting you out the door, whether you are better or not.

That’s the impression I’m getting too. I do want my shoulder to work again but they really couldn’t help me other than a
few light stretches until the 6 week mark.
Not sure how far to push it on my own.

    No pain, no gain?
