Knowing TT its more like a 1 year prove it deal, a motivated Peppers should be good even if he is getting a little long in the tooth. Now maybe the TT bashers will have something new to whine about – he spent money……on the wrong guy

The bears pushed money to the back of his contract twice as Peppers restructured, so they let him go because the cap numbers became too big. Peppers had a down year last year but still had 7.5 sacks as the only guy opposing teams had to account for on the rush. Should be a good threat opposite Mathews.

He is a beast if you can get him motivated to play every down.

I always think it’s such a risk taking guys of this age who were superstars at one point. Cowboys releasing Ware at first glance seems dumb. Then you think about his lack of performance and injuries the last couple years maybe it wasn’t such a bad move.

Glad you guys got him, His run defense is awful And he likes to take 50% of the plays off to catch a breather. 3 Years is a lot of time for a HAS BEEN

I’m shocked that they went that high. I enjoyed watching him play on his good day…the few that he had

Every decent def. players from the Bears was out almost all of last year. He still had 7.5 sacks. This is a good pick up. Reggie W was 31 when he came to the Pack

I equate the Packers pick-up of Peppers, as I would the Panthers picking up Reggie W… (time to pad the retirement)

Both good analogy’s on the comparison to both Reggie’s main moves. I hope he is somewhere between the two, and I am sure that is the hope in GB. Its a risky move but if it connects the Packers D just took a big step forward. I know two games he will have marked on his calender more shame for bear fans when JP and CMIII squish Cutler like grilled cheezzz
