LX-7 Open Water

    Has anyone tried their LX-7 in open water and does it work good? Thanks for any input. Joe

    I have the lx9 and used it occasionally last year in open water. Readings were good

    Used mine all of last year and loved it. Worked very well in all conditions.

    I really got to like it because of the target seperation in big schools of perch you could find out how big the perch were and more importantly how the predator fish were reacting inside the school.

    Honestly it was the first unit to be able to do that and not give me a false bottom reading. The schools are very dense.
