I cant speak for Sunday but Saturday it was a ZOO !and Sunday morning started out the same way !(I left at noonish)

Most all I spoke to caught fish with several limits, some just couldnt box any, I believe they are spread out still and you must search them out and stay on them.

If I remember right you needed meat, dragging lindy rigs seem to work well for some.

I thinking with warmer temps now we should the bite going full swing very soon.

In case your curious …Yes the eagles are still eating well

Saturday was a zoo! For us and people I knew down there the day time bite for walleyes was spotty at best. Lots and lots of people in the hole by the dam fishing for small saugers and had the eagles going nuts. Did a lot of running and scouting with a camera before the night bite and fish seem to be spread out all over.

I haven’t talked with anyone since Saturday.

Friday and Saturday there wasn’t anything that was working better then the other.

    Vertical plastics/minnows
    Dragging plastics/minnows
    Lindy rigging
    3 ways

They were all working. None was working stupid crazy, but they were all working.

The light in the fish cleaning house was on very late last night.

I know we were out there today, one bite all day long. we did however count anywhere from 25-33 boats at all times on top of each other in the scour hole. I about fell out of the boat laughing watching all those power hooksets and speed reel-ins for 8-10″ saugers. best eagle buffet around.

An angler stopped by my camper today and we had a short conversation as I wouldn’t let him enter my virus factory.

They didn’t have a bite. I didn’t get a chance to see what he was doing/using.

Pretty quiet down here at 4:40 am today.

we used blades, moxies, pulse-rs, minnows, color swaps each pass just couldn’t find them while avoiding the scour crowd.

As I said in an earlier post…every time I get skunked I always feel worse by knowing someone’s figured it out.

    Nice fish Erick!

So you’re saying there’s fish other places then at the dam?

The bite was real tough yesterday. I did manage to get 3 walleyes that were 17 3/4, 18 1/12 and 19 inches. The two guys that were with me got shut out. It was still a beautiful day.
