Garage Door Question

I’ve already selected a 9′ tall garage door, but want to confirm that with this height I won’t need to trim the motor down or flip down my Talon’s. Anyone got their rig at their place or know if a 9′ tall door will allow this to happen.

    I have a 19’6 Ranger w/ 225.

    Thanks!

    Checked with a friend,
    he gave this info.:

My bullet was about 7ft 10″ to the top

The Xpress with 8 ft poles is about 7′ 8″. Ground to poles.

    Hope that helps

Have no idea of height of an outboard, but you must also take into consideration the angle and length of the driveway leading into the garage. A short steep driveway could potentially raise the motor 6-12 inches as the boat is being backed into the stall

my 7.5ft door is just barely enough to clear my motor in the travel position…I’d think your 9ft would be good, however; I don’t have any Talon like anchor poles so my guess is that’s your highest point to clear. I think you better get out the tape measure….
    my .02$ worth…good luck…
