Heard great things about them so I just ordered a pair. I went with the “Blue” mirror 580 lens.
At least when I get skunked now, I can look good doing it.

I’ve only had cheap Wal-mart glasses prior to this.

Good stuff! Did you get the 580G or 580P lenses? The 580G are unreal. Come to think of it, the 400G are pretty dang nice, too, but heavier. I don’t have any experience with the 580P lenses.

You’ll love them. I have green-mirror, but I am sure the blue-mirror are the bee’s knees, too.

I have a pair of 580G Costa’s now I love the glass in them. There is nothing better in my opinion. Wait until you get one scorchering summer day it cuts the glare off the water like no other.

    Enjoy them.

Warning you will never go back to cheap sunglasses ever.

I have a pair of 580G in the blue mirror, absolutely love them. I had a pair of aviator style with brown lenses for over 12 years, great sunglasses, but set them on the bench, got knocked off and stepped on!

    You will love those glasses.

I only wear the glass due to the durability. Glass lenses are so much more scratch and damage resistant. They do weigh twice as much but your life expectancy is 4 times that of poly lenses.

x2 on the durability of glass. I have an 8-year old pair, and the lenses look the same as the day I bought them.

Go with the 580 glass. I have a pair of the plastic lens into them for replacement right now ( Great customer service by the way ) the original plastic lens has coating fade around the edges – going to up grade to the 580 glass in silver mirror. If you are looking for the best lens choice for site fishing go with either the green mirror or silver mirror ( both are coated over amber lens color ) the blue mirror is coated over a grey lens color I believe. Costa told me that for site fishing the green Mirror or silver mirror is the best. I already have a pair in the Green Mirror so going with Silver mirror this time.

I have 580 glass in copper and another pair in blue mirror. The blue mirror are pushing 8 years old on the original lenses and there’s not a single scratch on the lenses. I picked up the copper pair for low light and they’ve replaced the blue mirror pair as my every day sunglasses. They’re expensive but definitely worth it in my opinion.

You guys may have me sold. Have been faithful to Maui Jim’s for years. Love them, but they are a bit fragile. Last pair bought it when I ran over a nest of ground nesting yellow jacket with a brush hog. They didn’t survive the battle
