The ice on P2 was gone, the Lilydale ramp was clear, and I was pitching a jig at a current seam at the Confluence. Anybody taken a look down there lately?

I’m feeling my sanity slowly eroding away. Melt, come on darn it melt!

Crossed the bridge in St. Cloud yesterday and it was locked up tight.

Get the chisel out and start breaking it up to get the water flowing.

Me to Steve. If anyone gets down to the ramps maybe throw some salt around to help the thawing process.

I think I’m suffering from jigginitis.

That sounds like a brilliant idea.

    Sounds like a personal problem…

    Sorry, couldn’t help myself.

I live about a mile from the Hidden Falls ramp, if anyone ever gets down to that area I would love to jump in and join you for some shore fishing or in a boat. Would gladly help pay for gas, bait, etc…I tried a few times from shore last year and came up empty handed.

Is it bad that I was already checking my work schedule for possible pool 2 GTG dates?. Got to plan ahead.

This will most likely be the 1st weekend in Oct again. That is unless we still have ice on the river.

Your wish might be coming true Rootski. Just got a phone call from Jon saying there is loots of open water in front of the 494 landing. Got some ice to move to get to it. This wind, warm temps and a little work I could see being out there 1st part of next week if not sooner.

There will be boats on Pool 2 by the end of this weekend. Rare use of happy banana>>>

Looking at the upper pool froze shore to shore from the confluence to the airport, I thought the same. Got down there to see a lot of open water. 30-40 yards of shelf ice then open water all the way over to the other shore. Open water up to Red Rock and way downstream.

Me and the dog will be down there about 5-5:30 tonight giving it a little encouragement. Seen worse go faster.
