Target’s Price Match

I burned out my 12v car charger for my iphone yesterday. Running low on power, I had my Favorite Daughter call around Red Wing to see who had one in stock.

When she called me back, I was told Target had them and I should look up the charger on Amazon because Target will price match it.

I found the charger with light cord (or whatever they call it) for $39.95. When I asked the sales person about the price match, he said they do that and I would have to take it to the customer service area.

I really didn’t want to mess around with a couple dollar discount, but I pressed the button on the cell phone and said the name of the charger. It pops up at Amazon for $14.95!

With just a couple moments at the customer service desk, I was out the door.

I felt a little guilty.

That’s the way I buy my Crown @ Wallyworld’s adult beverage store. Bring up Morelli’s weekly ad and we’re good to go. Saves me a couple bucks a month. When you’re on a fixed income, every little bit helps jerr

Wow, that’s one heckofa discount! I figured Target would price match with similar retailers like Wal-Mart or Kmart, but I didn’t think they would price match for Amazon. That’s awesome!

BK, I think it’s just called “Barcde scanner” That’s all it says on my phone. My daughter loaded it for me.

That is what it’s called, but that gives you the price at Amazon, not the best price in the world! Just confirmed with the FD.

They just asked me for the site that had the lower price, then they looked it up on their tablet. Took all of 3 minutes.

Since our 32 in tube tv went out last weekend, I’m certainly going to be checking on line prices before pulling out my light weight wallet.

Good to know. Now it will be interesting to see if a.) I remember this b.) My incentive or laziness wins out.
