Pioneer Press and KSTP both have headlines today regarding a meeting on Thursday to “Discuss Mille Lacs Walleye Management
shouldn’t the word be MISmanagement ?

I’d be willing to bet that the person who wrote the news story couldn’t tell the difference between a Walleye and a toaster.

Complaining about a problem on the net and not going to the meetings to voice your opinion?

The above post isn’t pointed at anyone in particular.

Now before the post start about “it won’t make a difference anyway”, sitting at home is sure to not make a difference. By going, at the very least there’s a chance.

My understanding is the meeting is open to the public. However, the public is not allowed to make comments. Invited stakeholders make comments, then the DNR tells the stakeholders how it will be.

when I posted the question, I suspected it wouldn’t be long before this response showed up

I personally prefer a little more direct methods than sitting in meetings (listening to another pile of male-bovine excrement)
