    I have been cooped up rehabbing a left knee replacement for the past 5 weeks and I have been thru every piece of tacking I own !!!

    I spent about 3 weeks a year out handlining. The spring high water brings in the big females dropping their eggs on the gravel shore lines and shortly after that the males come in to make sure they do their best to get them eggs fertilized…

    Well thats where handlining has come in to play,,, good equipment and good tackle is essential to putting these male walleyes in the boat !!

    I like to use the #3 split rings, the #2 dual locks and 20# test Suffix.. It’s important to have a tough abrasion resistant line that can handle the abuse that the Mississippi River will put on it…

    Yep.. I am going stir crazy being cooped up this long…
