I have to stop allowing my wife to accompany me to places that sell handguns. It always seems to result in a hit to my wallet, and another handgun in her range bag. Today she added a ruger LC9 to her arsenal because she wanted something smaller to carry than her FNH. Couldn’t really argue with the price at $319. At least she lets me shoot them, and I always figure you can’t have too many handguns to play with.

Congrats on having a wife that actually wants to add to the gun collection I’m lucky if I get to drive by a gun store anymore.

I have a really great wife. She loves shooting. Her quote she always gives me is “handguns are like tattoos. Once you get one you want a whole bunch of them”. I wouldn’t trade her for anything.

The LC9 was too small for my hand. About 3rd shot starts taking chunks of meat off my hand. I got a Glock 17 and tweaked it a bit.

Doesn’t fit mine well either, but seems to work for her. She has an FNH and a Sig as well, so this will be strictly a carry weapon for her.

We have some friends that we shoot with and Ann is hooked as well. We were at MFF the other day so I could get some lures and she wandered off and was looking at guns. Her latest was a S&W 9mm M&P.

I don’t know with Jon’s history of marriages I would say it is a significant risk to his safety to arm a female.
