Went down this morning in search of deals. Discounts are from 5-30% which on many items brings them down to the boxstore competition. Closing has been pushed out to June. That place has a lot of specialty items that at some point I assume will have to see deep markdowns.
This closing should remind us all to support local businesses, “Mom & Pop” shops. Price is an important part of every sale, but not always the most important part. I’m not sure or versed on the reasons it is closing, but I’d be willing to bet the “Big Box” stores had some influence on the decision.

Correct, Real estate investor living in Arizona I believe. Ace Hardware is pretty big itself.
I honestly do care about the money trail I leave and believe in supporting small business owners. My parents were small business owners for thirty years and were literally taxed and insured and inspected out. It just wore them down. I know there are many business owners here that can testify to how much work it is but also very rewarding.
