MLB All-Star Clean Zone – BK Approved

    Sorry Facebook friends, this is a repeat for you.

    Major League Baseball, who are not only exempt from anti-trust laws, but also extort money from cities and states to build ball parks, is now extorting money from businesses in Minneapolis.

    So if you are a business within the clean zone, you need to go through MLB, not the city to get permission to do anything during this 2 week period. In other words, if you don’t pay “The Don” Bud Selig, “Vinny” (Mpls police) are going to make you stop whatever promotions you are doing and fine you.

    What a joke. I hope the council enjoys their kick backs.

    So they can stop people from getting permits to sell anything anywhere near the stadium and for quite a distance away. MLB wants to make all of the $$$ with no competition.

    I would question the legality of this also, if I have property in the zone and want to sell cracker jacks and they will not allow it during these two weeks, I think there will be problems. I think BK, Pug, and Castle Rock Clown need to round up the posse and start a protest march if it goes through.
