    Check list.

    1) MN Fishing Licenses expire this Friday. If you live in MN and are fishing the tourney (or the river)…might want to get your license on line today. (beats the heck out of buying one at a store)

    2) Boat Registration- did yours expire and the new one is sitting on your desk waiting for warmer weather? 2013 tags stand out like a sore thumb. Count on a citation if yours is expired.

    3) Don’t forget to pop in that transom plug!

    4) Please drain your trailer before heading up the ramp. It might be you that falls on your keaster when loading your boat.

    Good luck fishing!

Local shops don’t get hardly anything for license sales, at least around here. Its not worth worrying about. Buying a doz minners will net the bait shop more money than you buying your license there.

    I understand your reasoning Glenn.

The reason I buy them on line is because I can save the PDF file, print a copy out for my truck, boat, wallet and camper and still have the file to print out more if needed.

That and they are union in TN.

its worth worrying about to me. mn I believe gets at least a buck…..better then sending 3-4 to someplace not local!

BK, I HEAR YA ON THE COPIES, but what would be the difference in taking your original and doing a government job at work and running it thru the copier there?????? just wondering………you know us union guys don’t like to argue!!!!

Got to do 1 & 2. And new trailer tires, and make sure the outboard runs, and finish moving into the new house, think I’m going to take a nap in the boat.

Do you also buy all of your rods, reels, line, lures, bait, and gas (if its also a station) there as well? Don’t want to give those dollars away to other places! (all of those listed will net the shop more money with one purchase than your yearly license will). Pretty hypocritical if you don’t… If that one dollar matters to you, then dozens or hundreds should matter even more.

It’s really up to each person (for pete’s sake) where they buy their license.

Here’s the link to the US made MN fishing licenses.

WELL KEVIN….I MOST CERTAINLY DONT GO TO TENNESSEE TO BUY IT. and for your info I do buy gas and other things there as well. I also spread it around to other businesses as well. and if you really want to know how I spend my cash…i’ll tell ya. I go to the store first I find the store that sells UNION MADE products, if that’s not possible I look for any and all products made in the good ole USA. GOOD ENOUGH FOR YA!!!!

I found it funny that I renewed my canoe registration online and the stickers came in the mail from out of state, yet they were the same stickers as the two new registrations that I purchased and had printed out at the DMV down the street.

Living in Minnesota its pretty easy to buy all your rods, reels, lures, bait and gas in state. I know all my fishing money gets spent in state, and I’ve never even considered ordering gas online. Must be an Iowa thing
