The infamous brother of former President Jimmy Carter had a beer named after him, Billy Beer.

What’s more important, the name of the beer or the taste? Mostly tongue in cheek but I do know of some times buddies have bought based on name.

I’ve bought because a name intrigued me, but if it’s bad, I won’t be a repeat customer!

I cant stand bars with tons of beers. I have no idea if I like them or not and buying a whole crappy beer is unacceptable.

Lots of the new ‘good beer’ bars are more than happy to let you sample a beer before you order it.

You people taking shots at Surly should just go back to your Blue Moons with a lemon wedge.

Or your Mich Golden with 6 olives in it.

Surly Abrasive is in my fridge now. Pretty good dipa. It tastes a little like a sour tangerine.

Maybe we should have a craft beer gtg. I say at pug’s house.

Drinking a Furious right now. One of the best IPAs out there IMHO. My other favorite is Crooked tree IPA by Dark Horse out of MI.

I’m drinking a shipyard Longfellow winter ale, courtesy of my beer of the month… I had 2 surely furious when I got take out.

I say a craft brew late ice gtg and then you can come hot tub at my house…. OK, skip that last part.

I wanted to do a gtg anyway. How about medicine in a couple weeks when… if, it gets warmer.

Has anyone ever tried the Haywire from Indeed? It’s only comes in a bomber, 11 or 12% I think.

    One of my favorites.

I do think a Yard House grand opening with an IDO section could be fun…
