Versa Electronics Bad Service

    Have anyone of you guys experience bad customer service in regards to your MarCum?
    I called 10xs no answer n no call back, finally i rmail them then they responded. One guy told me 4/5 days turn around n one guy said 5/7 days. So when the day came i called to make sure that they actually had checked on my lx7 n they did but he was rude on the phone with me. He even cut me off. They knew i needed my lx7 for the weekend but told me they will send it to get here Thursday but failed. I never experience bad customer like this… just a lil frustrated and venting…

    I went there this week. They were beyond crazy busy with requests. I dropped off my lx-5 and my showdown dual beam on Tuesday and was back on Wednesday to pick them up no problems and I haven’t had any problems with their customer service. An email with versa is much more effective than a call which I have found out. Wish it would have worked out better for you.

    Totally an isolated incident. I took a friends unit there and was able to pick it up two days later, all problems gone and I had it back to them in time for the weekend. Sorry you had a bad experience. you are in the minority on this one. hope it all works out for you.

    Umm yea welcome to IDO… have never heard of bad customer service from versa. Looking at it a week turn around is awesome considering the season we are in…

    Welcome to IDO! Iv always had good service with them also. It sucks that you didnt. I would call back and talk to a person higher up on the food chain and tell them the problems you had with who you talked too. Almost gaurantee that they will make it right!

    Sorry to hear you had a poor experience with Marcum. As stated, I would find out who to contact and voice your concern. They are in the heart of the season and probably their busiest time of year. But even with the stress that comes with peak work loads, it doesn’t excuse being rude or not valuing a customer. Like others above, I’ve had a couple things to contact Marcum about over the last couple years. A couple weeks ago, I had a slow response time, but the service was outstanding. Over all, I think Marcum does a spectacular job with their CS. Welcome to ido and I hope your issue is resolved in a timely manner.

    I had an issue of a missing part on a new unit this year. I bought a display unit from the store and it didn’t have a charger in the box when I got it home. Talked to them on the phone. Had a new one in the mail two days later. More than likely not even their problem to solve. Awesome CS.

    I had an issue with a battery from a new unit that wouldn’t hold a charge. I emailed them a month or so ago and they said to just bring it by and they would replace it. I finally got there this past Wednesday following a meeting in the cities and arrived just in time for the receptionist to tell me I had just passed the CS guys on their way out for the day. I walked back out feeling a bit disappointed when one of them stopped his vehicle and took the time to take care of my battery problem with a brand new replacement before heading off for the night! My 2nd CS interaction with them and I remain a satisfied customer!
