Ice conditions on the Bay of Green Bay after rain?

    Has anybody been out today after last nights rain storm? Wondering how much water is on the ice? Plan on going out just south of Bay Shore in an hour or so after work.

    The rain ate about half the snow making wheeled vehicle travel much easier. The rain slush refroze and ice is solid. The whitefish are moving around but don’t seem as hungry today. Thinking the 20 plus mph wind gusts might be a factor.Catching them on green and gold jigs more so on gold. Tight lines and good luck!

    I’m still trying for a Whitefish trip in the next 2 weeks or so, but after that, I’m on call (might have to leave within hours)for my yearly Perch smackdown in N MN.

    Otherwise I get up to GB quite a bit so any added info is good

    Bayshore area? how much ice? I may head that way next weekend.
