Bad form?

Was out plowing this morning before they plowed the residential streets. Came across this 30’s something guy in a 4×4 pick-up that got stuck. Keep in mind no streets were plowed.

Anyway after hooking the strap up he says ” I made it to Wal-Mart but just got stuck getting home.”

My first inclination was to unhook him and leave him there. Had to venture out to Wal-Mart??????????? Really??

Would it have been bad form to just drive away?

Just think of it this way. At the golden gates it will be one check in the good side list. When the time comes.

Diapers, formula, onset sickness requiring OTC meds, and coffee creamer? A lot of things worth venturing out for man. Bad form indeed

Watched a gal for a while in front of our house this morning. Back and forth with the car about 6″ to a foot at a time. Had to give her a A for effort. Not so high for the rest of the score. Watched her for a while. Got the morning business done and got ready to head out side. In all this time she had made it from one side of the driveway to the other. About 15′. Tried talking to her and she wouldnt stop bitching about how the city had not plowed the road yet. She was lucky a couple of guys with a truck and strap stopped by then. I was about ready to tell her spring would be here in another month or so.

Idiots need help sometimes, too! Perhaps he really needed something at Wal-Mart that couldn’t wait. You never know.

I think it’s interesting how the news says not to go out; to stay home until the roads improve. Well, I don’t get paid if I don’t show up at work. I mean, I’m definitely going to be careful and take it slow, but the world doesn’t have to stop just because it snowed. It’s been snowing each winter for some time now, people just need to relax and use their brains. And perhaps leave more space. Space is always good.

The last night me and the X wife where together she thru a fit that I wouldn’t go to town to get her creamer. So I finally went to town and got it came home threw it next to her on the couch and stated I would be moving out in the morning. For 3 months after that she was convinced that it was all over the creamer. Guess she never herd about the camels back.

It ain’t about leaving space or going slow. If you don’t have 4×4, you need to stay off the roads right now. All you are doing is putting those that have to be out there plowing or rescuing at risk.

I almost got hit by a car this morning on my way to a plowing job as I was helping get a car unstuck. It’s dangerous out there right now.

Also, when all these cars get buried, it makes it much harder and slower for the big plows to get the roads cleaned off.
